Dance
All dance classes at NASDA are streamed to provide appropriate learning challenges for students.
To meet the unique requirements of the music theatre triple threat performer, the techniques of
jazz, ballet and tap are taught in a specially developed programme which focuses on a dynamic,
expressive style whilst allowing freedom of breathing to access the voice when dancing.
Movement For Actors studies provide a key foundation in the student's understanding of functional
alignment, energy use, physicalizing characters, heightened awareness and stage presence.
In all dance/movement classes the integration of acting skills is an essential part of the work.
